Nachdem 1748 die Innsbrucker Hofmusik aufgelst wurde, war es fr einen Musiker allerdings schwer, eine dauerhafte Anstellung zu erlangen. Dennoch blieb Malzat bis zu seinem frhen Tod in Tirol.
