Danach wird sie destilliert und fr weissen Rum eine gewisse Zeit gelagert (bei mir 2 Jahre). Wird das gleiche Destillat fr ein paar Jahre in einem Holzfass gelagert, wird es einen braunen Rum (oder auch Barrique genannt). Die Eichenfasslagerung kann bis 40 Jahre dauern.
