Velocity Aileron RimFeatures a disc specific elliptical profile designed with aerodynamics and weight as key factors. Specifically tuned to be aerodynamically paired with 23 28c road tires, though a 20mm inner width compliments even the most voluminous gravel and cross tires. Tubeless ready using 24mm Velotape. Tight tolerances require the use of a low profile rim tape like Velotape to avoid tire installation issues. Veloplugs are not recommended on Aileron rims. 700c is

I don’t expect this filter to last as long as the original filter but that’s okay because it is about half the cost. It looks well made. I didn’t see any flaws. I chose this filter because it had some of the fewest complaints regarding the fit and it worked well for my ‘23 Subaru Forester. I may go back to an OEM filter next time but it’s nice to know that this one will work for me.
