This is one of those simple things that just works exactly how you want it to. First off, it looks really nice on the counter. Assembly took maybe 30 seconds. You just screw the pieces together and it’s ready to go, no tools or fuss. Swapping out rolls is just as easy, and the top cap keeps everything in place without being annoying to deal with. The weight is really what makes this stand out. The base is heavy enough that it stays put when you tear off a sheet, so you can actually use it one-handed without it tipping or sliding around. It feels solid and well made, not flimsy at all.
