Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. fast shipping. film tape was more than i though. very thin. strong. great adhesion but no residue. i am us8ng as anti conductivity barrier on switch c9nnection tabs where solder and wire is bare. to resist possible short circuits or touching by hands... basically wrapping parts to keep safe and i did heat lightly and it seemed to set it up and kick like ub 2poxy woupd. quick and now it 8snt sticky or able to remove easy. basically it is awesome and necessary for any electronics lab and if you are DIY or experienced then just buy it because you need it even if you never heard of it.
