The majority of the handles are made of the wood type Hickory which is strong and flexible. Some individual models are from copper beech. The shafts are impregnated with warm linseed oil and beeswax, which increases the quality of the shafts. Both our splitting axes and the Outdoor Axe feature a metal guard to protect the handle. This is my favorite makeup removing wipe. It feels very clean and refreshing! The other wipes I used in the past leaves a residue on my face. The cloth on this one seems lighter but it's durable and works well at taking off makeup. Of course, I still do a double cleanse with a mild wash after but I love this one!
