It's fine if you're using a pressurized portafilter, but not ideal for a bottomless one. Worth considering only if you don't mind spending 15 minutes a day grinding your morning coffee. After a few months, I got tired of the manual process and now just buy pre-ground espresso from a local coffee roastery
