One side of the bar connects to the bottom two VESA bracket mounts on back on monitor plate, other side of bar attaches to the U shaped Scanner bracket. Set Screws allow for tilt adjustment of the Scanner bracket. Adjustable for left or right handed mounting.

Very nice but the actual color is not close to the photo. I ordered lavender grey and the color in the photo looked light purple but the real coloring is more grey/blue.
