I purchased this twice for a young puppy. She loves these slippers, and they are quite resistent to her piranha teeth. The same can't be said for my adult Golden Retriever, who destroys almost every toy; it's one of his missions in life. A slipper accidently found its way to him, and he shredded it within about 45 minutes. I have to say that I'm surprised it lasted that long, attesting to its relative durability.
